Did you know that one in seven women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime?

After a successful fundraising campaign last year raising $62,000, women’s activewear giant Rockwear has once again partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to raise awareness and funds for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
 
With nine Aussies dying from breast cancer per day, Rockwear has launched its ‘Care for your Pair’ campaign, working to make zero deaths from breast cancer possible and help raise awareness and fund vital breast cancer research. This month, you can donate to the NBCF in all Rockwear retail stores and online, helping the 58 women who are diagnosed every day and preventing the 3,300 who die from breast cancer every year.
 
The impact of your donations?

• $25 could support a researcher to investigate how breast cancer spreads
• $50 could help fund a researcher to develop new tools to improve the early detection of breast cancer
• $100 can contribute to research to develop methods to predict a person’s risk of developing breast cancer

 
If you’re a fitness lover, you can also hit the pavement on Saturday 12^th October at 7am and run for the girls with Rockwear and SSS Run Club. Lace up, don yourself in pink and donate just $5 to the NBCF to join the run and receive a free cap, a goodie bag and a delish post-run strawberry matcha, putting those five k’s to a good cause.
